About the role

FMS Aerospace is currently seeking a full-time Logistician and Inventory Controller for our Huntsville office location.
The successful candidate will be responsible for working with our current Procurement & Logistics team, utilizing our inventory system and help streamline efficiencies for this department.
This position requires someone who is highly organized, detail-oriented, and well-versed in all aspects of inventory control.

Analyzes and helps maintain the organization's supply chain and the life cycle of assigned products and services from acquisition through distribution, delivery, and when necessary, discontinuation.
Maintains updated and accurate records of inventory, purchases within our current database
Performs physical count of inventory, cycle counts, and transfers
Implements plan, schedule, and compliance metrics for the manufacturing team

Minimum of a bachelor's degree in Business Management, Supply Chain, or related field with 1-3 years' work experience
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work proficiently
Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite of programs (Word, Excel)
Proficiency in English (written and spoken)
Must be U.S. citizen
Monitors and maintains current inventory levels, processes purchase orders as required
Performs other inventory, logistical, and procurement-related duties, as required

Background in aviation airframe modifications and/or aerospace industry is strongly preferred
Unanet experience is strongly preferred
Inventory systems experience is strongly preferred
DoD or Military experience is preferred

As such, some travel may be required, both domestic and occasionally overseas.
Located in Huntsville, AL within minutes of the cultural center of downtown Huntsville.
