About the role
- Aksia is seeking an associate to join our Pan-Alternatives team.
- The team not only works with existing clients on the development and implementation of their alternative investment portfolios but is also the central point for the marketing and business development efforts of the firm's various business lines.
- This position is based in Aksia's New York or San Diego office and will include regular interaction with global colleagues, clients, and prospects.
Responsibilities
- Developing knowledge and expertise of new managers, strategies and investment opportunities to help clients meet their specific objectives
- Maintaining and developing firm marketing materials
- Developing a robust network of prospective clients in a given area of focus
Requirements
- 2-6 years of experience across private markets, ideally in an investment or client facing role
- Strong quantitative and qualitative skills
- Highly motivated and organized with excellent project management skills
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage deliverables independently
- Attentive to detail
- Positive attitude, team player and strong work ethic
Compensation
- The estimated base salary range for this position is $80,000 - $120,000, which is specific to New York and may change in the future.
