About the role

  • Experience Qualifications - Experience in Infectious Disease patient care.
  • Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations. - Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.

Responsibilities

  • Performs other duties as assigned
  • Perform a complete physical exam and record findings.
  • Inpatient Infectious Disease- assess patients and orders appropriate tests and medications; works in conjunction with the physician to help maintain or improve a patient's quality of life.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents.

Requirements

  • Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations..
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
  • This position is required to work weekends and holidays as warranted.
  • Must be a graduate of an accredited PA/APRN program.
  • All APRN incumbents are required to maintain Registered Nurse competencies as designated by Federal and State organizations and as outlined in SVH policy.

  • KSBN Must have valid APRN licensure.
  • Additional certifications may be required for certain patient care settings or populations.
  • DEA registration number is required.

Skills

  • Willingness to learn necessary computer skills.
  • Physician Assistant (PA)
  • KSBHA Required
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support
  • ACLS required within 4 monoths of hire.

Compensation

  • Abide by Stormont Vail's Remote Worker Policy and will review and acknowledge the Remote Work Agreement annually.
