- The pay for the successful candidate will depend on various factors (e.g., qualifications, education, prior experience).
Responsibilities
- Design, build, evaluate, and troubleshooting engineering prototypes to support new product development and technology advancement.
- Perform complex engineering activities to optimize product designs, processes, and system performance.
- Collaborate with Engineering and R&D teams to achieve project objectives in making early phase metallic prototypes.
- Develop and implement innovative solutions for highly complex technical challenges.
- Demonstrated ability to anticipate technical issues and develop innovative, effective solutions.
- Ability to build productive cross-functional relationships and influence technical decisions.
- Ability to use CAD or SoildWorks to design tools for making metallic prototypes
- Ability to design early phase tools/fixtures as an aid to help make the prototypes
- Metal working ability to build a wide variety of parts
Requirements
- Proficiency in engineering documentation, development tools, and quality system requirements.
- What you'll need (Required):
- Must be able to work with minimum supervision
Nice to have
- H.S. Diploma or equivalent plus 10 Years experience in prototype or new product development environment is required

Compensation
- For California (CA), the base pay range for this position is $86,000 to $118,000 (highly experienced).
