About the role
- We are currently seeking interest in skilled and experienced Heavy Equipment Operators to join our team at projects in USA in the Mountain West area.
- Successful candidates will play a critical role in the earth-moving operations, ensuring that all tasks are completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with environmental and regulatory standards.
- This role's responsibilities include operation of multiple pieces of mining equipment
Responsibilities
- Perform earthmoving and support duties in a mining environment, as directed
- Conduct and appropriately document daily pre-operational inspections
- Troubleshoot operational issues, perform adjustments, and find practical solutions to challenges faced during excavating and mining tasks
- Manage timecards effectively
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
- No auditory or visual impairments restricting the ability to see distances while driving and clearly discern auditory and visual alerts/alarms (not including color blindness)
Skills
- Minimum of 3 yrs recent experience working on large-scale mining projects, particularly in open-pit mines:
- Dozers D6-D11
