About the role

  • This role involves curriculum development, classroom and laboratory instruction, student assessment, and fostering an inclusive and engaging learning environment.
  • Conduct lectures and practical demonstrations to facilitate understanding of electrical concepts, codes, safety practices, and applications.

Responsibilities

  • Our experienced faculty and staff are committed to helping students achieve their goals by providing hands-on experience, state-of-the-art facilities, and individualized support and guidance.
  • Develop and deliver comprehensive instructional materials and labs in electrical systems.
  • Create assessments and evaluate student performance, providing constructive feedback to aid their development.
  • The successful candidate will collaborate with peers and industry partners to ensure course relevancy and effectiveness.
  • Your day-to-day responsibilities will vary, but are not limited to: Develop and deliver comprehensive instructional materials and labs in electrical systems.

Requirements

  • In-depth knowledge of electrical theory, systems, and applications.
  • Experience with various electrical systems, including residential, commercial, and industrial installations.
  • Experience with instructional design and curriculum development techniques.
  • Requirements, Knowledge & Skills Needed: In-depth knowledge of electrical theory, systems, and applications.

Nice to have

  • Relevant teaching experience or industry experience in electrical systems or a related field required.
  • Associate's degree in electrical or a related field Preferred.
  • Current certifications in applicable electrical codes and standards, such as NEC, are a plus.

Skills

  • Engage with industry stakeholders to ensure curriculum is aligned with current technologies and workforce needs.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students and colleagues.

Compensation

  • $58,926.40 /Annual Worksite Location: City Center Campus *Position expected to begin on or after July 1, 2026 Overview /
