About the role
- Practicing excellent verbal and written communication skills while being self-directed, with the ability to work collaboratively with individuals at all levels will be key for success in this role.
- Translate business needs into user stories and functional specifications.
- Analyze CLM / Bids & Tenders data and processes to identify gaps and improvement areas, providing recommendations aligned to BD's long-term Revenue Technology strategy and the common blueprint.
Responsibilities
- Support sprint planning, backlog grooming, and UAT coordination.
- Act as liaison between business users and technical delivery teams (IT/ TDS and vendor partners).
- Develop reporting and dashboards that support business needs and measurement of Revenue Technology KPIs.
- Facilitate workshops and working sessions with business and IT stakeholders to gather requirements, align on priorities, and drive decisions.
Requirements
- strong experience in the Scaled Agile (SAFe) development framework.
- Experience spanning multiple technology platforms and willingness to become proficient over and above the required specialty (e.g., Oracle CPQ, Conga/Apttus CLM, Bids & Tenders).
Skills
- Bachelor's degree
- 5+ years of combined experience as a business analyst supporting CLM / Bids & Tenders or quote-to-cash systems.
- Experience systematizing new business processes, efficiencies, and business improvements.
- Agile certified; strong experience in the Scaled Agile (SAFe) development framework.
- Experience interacting with both "business" and "technical" partners.
- Experience driving organizational change by influencing others without authority.
- Ability to travel ~10% required.
