About the role
- This role is accountable for architecting and governing the future-state finance operating model, ensuring scalability, standardization, and technology-enabled process maturity across FP&A, data governance, automation, and enterprise systems integration.
- The position carries enterprise-wide impact on finance performance, reporting integrity, and operational efficiency, leading modernization from legacy, siloed processes to digitally integrated, automation-ready, and analytics-enabled operating models
Responsibilities
- Define the finance operating model: Own and maintain the enterprise-wide blueprint, ensuring alignment with long-term business and technology strategy.
- Lead process transformation: Drive end-to-end redesign across planning, reporting, and data to improve efficiency and consistency.
- Lead a cross-functional team: Manage Data, Automation, and Solution Architecture leads to deliver integrated outcomes.
- Drive standardization: Promote consistent processes and scalable solutions across the finance organization.
- Influence senior stakeholders: Partner with CFO, USFLT, IT Architecture, and Global Finance to shape priorities and decisions.
- Own transformation governance: Oversee program delivery, including budget tracking and portfolio-level accountability.
- Build and develop talent: Lead a small, high-performing team (3-5), coaching technical leaders and driving execution in a matrixed environment.
Requirements
- Transformation leadership: 5+ years leading enterprise-wide transformation initiatives, including large-scale ERP or finance operating model redesign.
- Cross-functional leadership: Proven experience managing teams across finance and IT in complex, matrixed environments.
- Communication & influence: Strong executive presence with the ability to communicate clearly at senior and board levels.
- Governance & mindset: Strong focus on governance and risk, with the ability to navigate ambiguity and translate strategy into scalable frameworks.

Nice to have
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field
- MBA or advanced degree strongly preferred.
- SAP/S4 or ERP architecture certification preferred
- Lean/Six Sigma is a plus.
- Deep understanding of finance processes and strong ERP knowledge (SAP/S4 preferred).

Compensation
- The expected salary range for this position based on the primary location of San Francisco, CA is $161,000 - $299,000.
