- This position plays a critical role in ensuring operational reliability through equipment monitoring, data collection, and adherence to procedures.
- Operators contribute to continuous improvement by proactively identifying issues, supporting process changes, and promoting a strong safety culture.
- The role requires hands‑on execution, attention to detail, and collaboration within production teams.
Responsibilities
- Operate, monitor, and maintain assigned production equipment in accordance with approved procedures and safety requirements
- Perform general production and area support tasks, including equipment cleaning, material handling, and team participation
- Ability to safely perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 50-75 pounds and standing or walking for extended periods
Requirements
- 0-3 years of experience in a manufacturing, production, or industrial operations environment
- Ability to follow written procedures, batch sheets, and safety requirements with consistency and accuracy
- Collect, document, and verify process data, samples, and observations as required by operating instructions
Nice to have
- Experience operating process or chemical manufacturing equipment
- Forklift or pallet jack operating experience or certification
- Mechanical aptitude for basic equipment cleaning, teardown, or troubleshooting
- Experience working 12‑hour shifts or rotating schedules in a production environment
