- The Paint Helper plays a critical role in the paint department, preparing surfaces and accessories for painting and applying finishes according to industry standards.
Requirements
- This position requires that you must be a US Citizen for consideration and meet all Federal Contractor employee requirements.
- Minimum of 1-3 years of documented work experience in auto body and automobile painting.
- We seek a candidate that is self-inspired to learn and demonstrates a high degree of customer service while positively contributing to our team.
- The Paint Helper must be familiar with the operation of spray guns and lifting devices and is expected to assist in other departments as needed.
- Assistance required for anything heavier than 50 pounds.
- Must have the physical stamina to work in awkward positions and stand for prolonged periods.
- Occasional outdoor work required.
- adherence to safety protocols outlined in Safety Data Sheets (SDS) required.
- High school diploma or GED.

Nice to have
- An apprenticeship and/or formal training in the application of automotive paint preferred.

- Regular use of hands and arms to manipulate, handle, feel, reach, or operate objects, tools, or controls.
