About the role
- Position Purpose: The Maintenance Technician - Automation is responsible for monitoring, troubleshooting, and repairs on various types of assembly, subassembly, printing, and/or packaging machines.

Responsibilities
- Maintain a clean and safe work area and report any unsafe working conditions
- Check and maintain quality of product being produced by identifying acceptable and non-acceptable product in accordance with Quality policies and procedures
- Perform and document inspections per cGMP for work instruction sheet, on device history sheet records, and work instruction sheet tables
- Repair and maintain electrical controls on equipment (assembly and packaging machines), including servicing, repairing, adjusting, and testing machines and devices primarily on the basis of electronic principles
- Perform root cause analysis for safety, quality, and processing issues
- Brainstorms with other maintenance personnel, and outside technical support as needed.
- Maintains good communications with Maintenance Leader
- Maintains ongoing list of CMMS work orders with timeline to be addressed and completed.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Must have 3 or more years of experience in a technical, hands-on position
- Experience with complex assembly automation required
- Experience in electrical, pneumatics, and hydraulics
- Knowledge of PLC programming and troubleshooting
- Ability to regularly lift up to 40lbs with repetitive movements
- Ability to push and pull items and climb up and down ladders
- Ability to stand and/or walk up to constantly during the shift

Skills
- Computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications required and SAP experience preferred
- Ability to work independently from verbal and/or written instructions required
- Understanding of Lean Manufacturing concepts
- Must be mechanically inclined and can use basic hand tools
- Must have strong hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
- Works in a clean manufacturing environment that may include moderate noise levels and required appropriate PPE and cleanroom apparel
Compensation
- $24.00 - $38.00 USD Hourly (This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting.
