About the role

  • Identify budget risks and opportunities; proactively surface issues and recommendations to leadership
  • Prepare financial summaries and presentations for senior stakeholders, translating complex data into clear business insights

Responsibilities

  • Own and maintain department budgets, including headcount, OpEx, and CapEx tracking across all functional areas
  • Build and manage monthly/quarterly budget vs. actuals reporting, with clear variance analysis and commentary
  • Support month-end close activities in coordination with the finance team
  • Develop and continuously improve financial models, dashboards, and reporting templates
  • Identify areas of improvement and drive changes in working procedures and processes to increase efficiency and accuracy
  • Respond to ad hoc financial analysis requests from business partners with speed and accuracy

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
  • 6-10 years of experience in financial planning & analysis (FP&A) or a related role
  • Strong proficiency in Excel (financial modeling, pivot tables, VLOOKUP/INDEX-MATCH)
  • Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar)
  • Experience with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, or similar)
  • Ability to communicate financial data clearly to non-finance stakeholders
  • Familiarity with headcount and workforce planning

Compensation

  • The salary range is what we believe to be the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting.
  • We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and this range is only applicable for jobs to be performed in California, Colorado, New York or remote jobs that can be performed in California, Colorado and New York.
  • You will be eligible to participate in Sandisk's Short-Term Incentive (STI) Plan, which provides incentive awards based on Company and individual performance.
  • Depending on your role and your performance, you may be eligible to participate in our annual Long-Term Incentive (LTI) program, which consists of restricted stock units (RSUs) or cash equivalents, pursuant to the terms of the LTI plan.
