About the role
- Potentially operate automated liquid handling systems to plate samples for physical property testing.
- Safely handle and formulate solvents and prepare materials per protocol.
- Provide daily updates to internal or external customers on order/status and material availability.
Responsibilities
- Weighing & Material Handling: Accurately weigh, deliver, and maintain laboratory records of materials and discovery compounds for screening.
- Sample Transfer & Storage: Support projects transferring vials and samples to new storage systems and maintain chain-of-custody documentation.
- Solvent Handling & Formulation Support: Safely handle and formulate solvents and prepare materials per protocol.
- Lab Upkeep & Safety: Maintain laboratory and fume hood spaces, ensure sanitation and audit-ready housekeeping, and follow chemical safety practices.
- Training & Support Initial onboarding includes hands-on lab training and shadowing with experienced team members.
- Ongoing guidance, feedback, and cross-functional collaboration support skill development and operational consistency.
- Accurately weigh, deliver, and maintain laboratory records of materials and discovery compounds for screening.
- Support projects transferring vials and samples to new storage systems and maintain chain-of-custody documentation.

- Familiarity with working in a chemical laboratory
