About the role
- We are seeking a Senior Manager, Cloud Engineering to join the EverHealth Platform Engineering team, reporting to the Head of Platform Engineering.
Responsibilities
- Own AWS account structure, landing zones, networking, IAM standards, and environment provisioning practices
- Own Terraform strategy, reusable infrastructure patterns, IaC standards, and review practices
- Support AWS services and environments including VPC, IAM, EC2, ECS/EKS, RDS, S3, CloudWatch, load balancers, networking, backup/DR, Windows/Linux workloads, and related services
- Partner with SRE on AWS infrastructure reliability, production readiness, operational resilience, disaster recovery, and business continuity practices
Nice to have
- Experience helping modernize or mature a Cloud Engineering function in a growing or transforming engineering organization
- Experience with FinOps tooling, cloud cost management platforms, or formal cost governance practices
- Terraform, ITIL, DevOps, or related infrastructure/platform certifications
- Experience with HITRUST, SOC 2, or other regulated technology environments
- Experience improving Kubernetes, ECS/EKS, or container platform maturity in partnership with product engineering teams
- Experience using AI-assisted engineering tools such as ChatGPT/Codex or Claude Code or similar
- The EverCommerce team is distributed globally, with teams in the U.S., Canada, the U.K., Jordan, New Zealand, and Australia.
Skills
- Prioritize Cloud Engineering work during sprint planning in partnership with the Scrum Master
- Ensure technical alignment with the Principal Cloud Platform Engineer
- Identify opportunities to improve utilization, reduce waste, and align cloud/infrastructure spend with business needs
- Reduce cloud operational risk through better standards, automation, documentation, reusable patterns, and repeatable practices
Compensation
- EverCommerce is committed to equal pay and transparency.
- The annual base salary range for this position is $160,000 - $175,000 USD per year.
- Please note that the salary range information provided is a general guideline and combines all of the distinct labor markets within the U.S. and Canada.
