Responsibilities

  • Create short-, medium-, and long-form video packages using advanced video production tools and industry-standard best practices.
  • Partner with colleagues in the Office of Strategic Communications and the Director's Office to develop video campaigns supporting Director and executive communications.
  • Source and pitch compelling story ideas for video concepts by developing effective working relationships with the Laboratory's broad and diverse programs and organizations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Create and implement Lab-wide video visual identity standards and standardized processes for requesting video support.
  • Strong storytelling ability, with preferred experience developing scripts, storyboards, production plans and translating complex topics.
  • Experience planning and producing video packages on a variety of topics, including technically oriented topics. Experience developing science communication content is preferred.

Compensation

  • $95,820 - $117,312 Annually for the G03.2 level
  • $114,900 - $140,712 Annually for the G03.3 level
  • This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting; pay will not be below any applicable local minimum wage.
  • An employee's position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, specific competencies, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, and business or organizational needs.
