About the role
- The Avionics Technician is responsible for installing, troubleshooting and/or performing needed repairs to aircraft systems utilizing test equipment and hand tools to return aircraft to service per FAA and manufacturers specifications.
Nice to have
- Minimum four (4) years' experience in performance of avionics modifications and installations on corporate / business aircraft or similar airframes.
- FCC Certification is preferred
- Airframe certification preferred
- Work is performed in an aircraft hangar environment with moderate noise level.
- The employee is frequently subject to inside environmental conditions, which provide protection from weather conditions but not necessarily from temperature changes.
- Must have the ability for climbing and bending at the waist, crawling, kneeling, crouching, reaching, pushing, pulling, and working at heights
- Reaching overhead above the shoulders and horizontally.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
