About the role
- This role reports into our Maintenance Manager.

Responsibilities
- Supervise daily machine shop operations, including machining, fabrication, and repair activities to support plant reliability and production goals.
- Lead, mentor, and develop machine shop technicians while promoting a strong culture of safety, quality, and accountability.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment reliability, reduce downtime, and improve shop efficiency.
- Manage machine shop scheduling, tooling, inventory, and resource allocation to ensure timely completion of critical work.
- Proven ability to lead teams, prioritize work, and coordinate activities across Maintenance, Engineering, and Operations teams in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, work around industrial equipment, and safely perform duties in a manufacturing environment.

Nice to have
- 5+ years of experience in machining, fabrication, maintenance, or machine shop operations, with prior leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
