About the role
- This role demonstrates increasing ownership of assigned applications, environments, and workflows, applying structured analysis and technical problem-solving skills to ensure stability, data integrity, and effective end-user adoption.
- Contribute to team initiatives, upgrades, and enhancement efforts with clear documentation and follow-through.
- Communicate user needs, risks, and improvement opportunities to senior analysts and project teams.
Responsibilities
- Configure, test, and implement clinical application solutions with defined ownership of assigned modules or workflows.
- Perform application builds, maintenance, and troubleshooting using structured analytical approaches.
- Independently resolve routine-to-moderate complexity support tickets
- Use SQL and reporting tools to investigate data issues, validate workflows, and support operational analysis.
- Maintain accountability for assigned workstreams, deliverables, and timelines.
- Develop strong partnerships with clinical and operational stakeholders to understand needs and translate them into system solutions.
- Support observability and monitoring activities for enterprise applications, including reviewing alerts, logs, and performance metrics.
- User Training and Support
- Provide direct application support and functional guidance to end users within assigned application areas.
- Develop and maintain job aids, workflows, and reference documentation.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field
- Familiarity with databases, software development life cycles (SDLC), and business process analysis.
- Experience with troubleshooting tools, SQL, and scripting languages.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical teams.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with Excel skills being most critical
- 1-2 years of experience in application support, systems analysis, or healthcare IT.
- Prior experience working with clinical applications or healthcare IT systems (e.g. Epic, Cerner, etc)
- Strong analytical, organization and problem-solving abilities.
- Skills and Competencies:
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Nice to have
- Experience with project management or working in Agile/Scrum environments is a plus.

- Strong technical aptitude with a focus on application functionality and troubleshooting.
- Strong interpersonal skills to work collaboratively across departments.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
Compensation
- $82,000-$95,000, with a generous benefits package that includes paid time off, health, dental, vision, and 401(k) savings plan with match
