About the role

  • The responsibilities of the Material Handler/Backup driver will include, but are not limited to, picking orders, staging orders, and loading trucks.
  • Additional responsibilities will include covering PTO time for CDL-A Transfer Driver routes in an automatic 48ft - 53ft tractor trailer.
  • The position would require a mix of running local routes to cover vacations and work in the warehouse when not driving.

Responsibilities

  • Accurately complete and maintain all forms and records legibly.
  • Perform housekeeping duties to keep work area clean and free of debris.
  • Perform pre and post trip inspections on vehicle.

Requirements

  • Forklift: 1 year (Required)
  • 1 year (Required)
  • CDL A (Required)
  • The ideal candidate must have a solid work history, excellent attendance record and is customer focused.
  • A valid CDL A license and experience with operating a sit-down forklift is required.
  • Electric pallet jack: 1 year (Required)

Nice to have

  • Experience with operating a stand up forklift and electric pallet jack are preferred.
