About the role
- The responsibilities of the Material Handler/Backup driver will include, but are not limited to, picking orders, staging orders, and loading trucks.
- Additional responsibilities will include covering PTO time for CDL-A Transfer Driver routes in an automatic 48ft - 53ft tractor trailer.
- The position would require a mix of running local routes to cover vacations and work in the warehouse when not driving.
Responsibilities
- Accurately complete and maintain all forms and records legibly.
- Perform housekeeping duties to keep work area clean and free of debris.
- Perform pre and post trip inspections on vehicle.
Requirements
- Forklift: 1 year (Required)
- 1 year (Required)
- CDL A (Required)
- The ideal candidate must have a solid work history, excellent attendance record and is customer focused.
- A valid CDL A license and experience with operating a sit-down forklift is required.
- Electric pallet jack: 1 year (Required)
Nice to have
- Experience with operating a stand up forklift and electric pallet jack are preferred.
