About the role
- Peraton is hiring a Software Data Engineer to join our Cyber Mission business unit in Laurel, Maryland.
Responsibilities
- As a Software Data Engineer on our team, you will support one of the largest enterprise-wide engineering contracts within the Intelligence Community.
- You will provide specific input to the software components of system design to include the use of Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) / Government Off-The-Shelf (GOTS) in place of new development.
- You will develop software solutions by analyzing system performance standards, confer with users or system engineers; analyze usage and work processes; and investigate problem areas. #MDFSP #AJCM
Requirements
- Individual Capabilities/Experience Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or appropriate field from an accredited college or university and five (5) years of demonstrated experience in Software Engineering OR
- Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or appropriate field from an accredited college or university and three (3) years' experience in Software Engineering OR
- Six (6) years of experience in Software Engineering with a High School Diploma or GED.

Compensation
- $112,000 - $179,000.
- This represents the typical salary range for this position.
- Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual's experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations.
- Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
