About the role
- Option 1: Monday - Thursday: 6am - 2:30pm, Friday half-day (flexible hours)
- Option 2: Monday - Thursday: 3:00pm - 11:30pm, Friday half-day (flexible hours)
- Option 3: Thursday - Sunday: 7:30 am - 5:30 pm
Responsibilities
- Deliver FAA-aligned curriculum to prepare students for A&P certification
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, grades, and student progress
- Support curriculum updates and collaborate with program leadership
- Maintain classroom, lab equipment, and training materials
- Continue growing your own knowledge while developing others
- As an Aircraft Maintenance Instructor (A&P Mechanic Instructor), you will deliver FAA Part 147-aligned aviation maintenance curriculum and provide hands-on instruction to students preparing for careers as aircraft maintenance technicians (AMTs).
Requirements

- No prior teaching experience required.
- Share your real-world aircraft maintenance experience with future technicians
Nice to have
- Teach aircraft maintenance systems, procedures, and techniques in a hands-on environment
- Demonstrate practical skills used by A&P mechanics and aviation technicians
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Associate degree in aviation or related field preferred
Compensation
- Up to $38 per hour + $2,500 sign-on bonus and $2,500 relocation bonus
