About the role

  • This role is responsible for conducting on site discovery activities that evaluate operational readiness, asset conditions, and local market practices critical to expansion decisions.
  • Serving as a key field liaison, the FNF Discovery Coordinator ensures discovery findings are accurate, well documented, and reflective of local market realities.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct on site discovery activities to support the title plant expansion, including conversion, build out, or acquisition of title plants in new and expansion markets.
  • Perform direct engagement with local stakeholders, county offices, abstractors, and subject matter experts (SMEs) to gather operational insights.
  • Perform on site assessments of title plant assets, facilities, and workflows to evaluate operational readiness and data integrity.
  • Collect and document plant level agreements, financial arrangements, access agreements, and related supporting materials.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with local SMEs to support ongoing discovery efforts and future market needs.
  • Compile findings into organized summaries and provide timely updates to management and cross functional partners.
  • Support multiple concurrent discovery projects while meeting established timelines and quality standards.
  • Manage assigned projects end-to-end, prioritizing tasks, meeting deadlines, and operating with minimal supervision.
  • Collaborate with title examiners, underwriters, and legal teams to ensure the integrity of title data and support underwriting decisions.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to clarify requirements and support informed expansion decisions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
  • Experience supporting title plant acquisition, expansion, and/or conversion projects.
  • Familiarity with large-scale title plant systems and land record repositories.
  • Experience working across multiple jurisdictions and regulatory environments.
  • Experience with title insurance underwriting or curative title work.

Compensation

  • FNF, its affiliates, and subsidiaries carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate's education, training, specialty, experience, and work location.
  • Based on location and job-related factors such as skillset and experience, this position has the potential to earn compensation in the range of $80,000 - $90,000 annually.
  • The base compensation is one component of the total rewards package offered to our employees, including optional health and welfare insurance (medical/dental/vision/life/disability); paid holidays, vacation, and sick time off; and matching 401(k) plan and matching employee stock purchase plan.
