Performs procedures such as I&D, splinting, suturing, or simple lesion (wart) removal, based on knowledge, skills and abilities, as applicable to clinical area.

Licensed as an Advanced Nurse Practitioner in the State of Nebraska required.
CPR certification required.

Minimum of three years of experience in a primary care/ambulatory care/urgent care preferred
for the Same Day Pediatrics Clinic, minimum of three years of APRN experience in an ambulatory and/or urgent care preferred.

Serves as a role model in carrying out activities and behaviors that reflect the values and principles of the Boys Town mission.
Position is relatively sedentary in a normal office administrative environment involving minimum exposure to physical risks.
Will use office equipment such as a computer/laptop, monitor, keyboard, and a general workstation set-up.
Requires up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects.

Completes timely, thorough documentation of the patient visit in the electronic medical record.
Orders pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic treatments indicated in management of the acute illness or health condition.
Provides relevant education and discharge instructions to the patient/family related to the acute presenting illness or health condition and need for follow-up.
Experience using an electronic medical record required.
