About the role
- We are currently seeking an Electrical Draftsperson to join our Central Engineering team in Sudbury.
- This is a permanent position covered under the Collective Agreement between Vale and the Local 2020-05 United Steelworkers.
- Additionally, in this position you will: Drafting - creating, revising, archiving, and checking drawings under direct supervision of the engineer, site visits, field measuring, knowledge of codes and familiar with Vale standards.
Responsibilities
- As an Electrical Draftsperson you will provide complete drafting services for the design engineering team according to the Vale standards and safe operating procedures.
Requirements
- Drafting - creating, revising, archiving, and checking drawings under direct supervision of the engineer, site visits, field measuring, knowledge of codes and familiar with Vale standards.
- The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of one year's drafting experience.
- Employees engaged by the Company must be lawfully able to work for the Company in the country where the role is located.
Skills
- Experience using Microstation, AutoCAD is acceptable, SAP.
- Microsoft Office software including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
