About the role

  • The Department of Nursing is has instituted a new program offering with the PhD in Nursing Education.
  • The three grant funded faculty positions will contribute to this process through teaching, research and guidance in the area of nursing education.
  • They will share responsibility for committee and department assignments including administrative, supervisory, and other functions for the good of the institution.

Requirements

  • Master's of Science Degree in Nursing (MSN) required.
  • Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) in Nursing required.
  • Expertise in nursing care throughout the lifespan is required.
  • May be required to teach across disciplines.

  • Evidence of an active record of scholarship and service at the program, department and university levels preferred.
