About the role

Ensure overall maintenance of machines according to maintenance plan.
Repair and test equipment to specification.
Follow technical diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer's instructions, and engineering specifications for troubleshooting malfunctions.

Maintain reliability and functionality of all mechanical equipment and processes utilized in the facility.
Actively support machine operator during line changeover.
Document all equipment maintenance on appropriate forms.
Perform any other duty reasonable corresponding with the role.

Perform all preventative maintenance tasks as required.
Troubleshoot, and perform required tasks to maintain equipment in operational status.
Assist with operation of production equipment as required.
Assist with the implementation and maintenance of systems, including performing internal audits as required.
Ability to work independently or as a team.
Basic knowledge of welding, plumbing, and fabrication.
Ability to understand conversational speaking
Ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) - per safety guidelines
Ability to work in an environment that can become loud and very hot (temperature) depending on the weather.

Maintain equipment, parts, and supplies inventories by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed equipment, parts, and supplies; placing and expediting orders; verifying receipt.
Vocational education a plus ( Mechanical, Technical or similar ).
