  • Responsible for analyzing and summarizing results.

Responsibilities

  • Ability to build and maintain good rapport with patient and staff.
  • Demonstrates the ability to perform the duties outlined for Electroneurodiagnostic Technologist (END) under supervision.
  • Accurately takes and documents pertinent history from the patient or chart.
  • Performs diagnostic studies with appropriate documentation and observation of the patient.
  • Troubleshooting equipment and physiological artifacts, distinguishing normal from abnormal and utilizing appropriate resources to perform study.

Requirements

  • Required - High School diploma or equivalent
  • Required - BLS certification, w illingness and ability to pursue at least one certification i.e. R.NCS.T, R.EEG.T, R.EP.T, RVS, RCS, CLTM, or CNIM
  • Must have computer skills and dexterity required for data entry and retrieval of information.
  • Must be proficient with Windows-style applications, various software packages specific to role and keyboard.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills and the ability to present information clearly and professionally.
  • Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure.
  • Ability to work effectively through changing priorities.
  • Demonstrates responsibility for professional development and maintaining required clinical knowledge, technical skills, training and credentials.

Nice to have

  • Preferred - Associates degree
  • Preferred - Two years related experience
  • Preferred-R.NCS.T, R.EEG.T, R.EP.T, RVS, RCS, CLTM, or CNIM
