Responsibilities

  • Safety Policies and Procedures: Develop, implement, and review safety policies, procedures, and guidelines to establish best practices across all company operations.
  • Inspections and Audits: Perform regular inspections and audits of job sites, equipment, and work processes to identify potential hazards, non-compliance issues, and areas for improvement.
  • Document findings, recommend corrective actions, and ensure timely implementation.
  • Collaborate with project teams to identify root causes, develop corrective actions, and implement preventive measures to minimize the risk of recurrence.
  • Safety Documentation and Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date safety records, including training records, safety data sheets, inspection reports, incident logs, and safety program documentation.
  • Recommend and implement improvements to existing safety programs and initiatives based on emerging risks and technological advancements.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in construction safety, with a focus on electrical service work in industrial environments.
  • Strong knowledge of NFPA 70E, OSHA 1910 (General Industry), and OSHA 1926 (Construction) electrical safety regulations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, safety management software, and digital reporting tools.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to train, coach, and enforce safety standards effectively.
  • 5+ years of safety coordination experience in an industrial electrical service setting.
  • Experience conducting arc flash analysis, lockout/tagout procedures, and high-voltage safety training.
  • Ability to interpret electrical one-line diagrams, wiring schematics, and safety data sheets (SDS) related to electrical components.

Nice to have

  • Experience working in large industrial, or semiconductor facilities is a plus.
