Occupational Experience Requirement: Four full-time years (or equivalent) of verified related paid work experience in machine setup, programming, troubleshooting and operation of both manual and CNC equipment.
The recency requirement shall be waived if the individual has two years of successful full-time (or equivalent) postsecondary teaching experience in the credential field within the last five years.
CNC Machinist Associate of Applied Science Degree (60 credits)

Teaching experience in a community college or technical school setting
Occupational experience in machine setup, programming, troubleshooting and operation of both manual and CNC equipment
Experience incorporating technology into curriculum delivery
Experience assessing student academic achievement

Current and former employees must be in good standing with Minneapolis College to be considered for the position.

Minneapolis College, a vibrant and inclusive two-year community college in Minnesota, is accepting applications for a unlimited, full-time Machine Tool Technology Instructor position in our Machine Tool Technology (MTTC ) Department within the School of Trade Technologies starting 2026 Fall Semester.
This position follows a 9-month academic calendar, mid-August to mid-May.
Additional work opportunities may be available in summer; such work would be optional and would result in additional compensation.

$44,359 - $74,049 annually.
