About the role
- Job Description: Site Manager Huntsman is seeking a Site Manager supporting the Advanced Materials Division located in Los Angeles, California.
- This position will report to the Vice President of Operations.
- Job Scope The Site Manager is accountable for all aspects of site performance, including safety, environmental compliance, production, quality, maintenance, engineering, financial performance, and people leadership.
Responsibilities
- Lead daily manufacturing operations across Production, Quality, Maintenance, and Engineering.
- Drive operational decisions using performance metrics to improve safety, quality, delivery, and efficiency.
- Manage capital investment planning and execution.
- Lead, coach, and develop the Site Leadership Team while fostering accountability, collaboration, and employee engagement.
- Partner with HR and functional leaders to support talent development and workforce planning.
- Lead transformational initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, and structured problem solving.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Chemistry, Business, or related technical discipline.
- 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in chemical or comparable process manufacturing.
- Proven experience managing operating budgets, capital projects, and cross-functional teams.

- Demonstrated experience leading safety, quality, operational excellence, financial performance, and people development.

Nice to have
- MBA or advanced technical degree.
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification.
- Experience leading a specialty chemical manufacturing facility.
- Experience in a global, matrixed organization.
- Knowledge of California manufacturing, environmental, and safety regulations.

Compensation
- $175,000-$220,000 annually.
- The compensation range reflects the Company's reasonable expectation at the time of posting, considering education, experience, and training.
