About the role
- Gordon Food Service Store LLC Location: 1480 E 104th Ave, Thornton, CO, 80233 Now Hiring!
- Our 170+ stores are the primary supplier for many small food service operators, families, non-profit organizations, caterers and so much more!
- All Gordon Food Service locations are tobacco-free.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain good customer relationships.
- Perform all Sales Service functions by the 90th day of employment.
- Perform proper equipment maintenance, monitor reefer temperature, and reports mechanical issues and damages in a timely manner.
- Complete daily check-ins in a timely manner with no errors. Manage paperwork to include register, credits, pick-ups, etc
Requirements
- Must have or be able to obtain a DOT Physical before start date
- Valid Unrestricted Driver's License (required)
- No drug or alcohol offenses in the last 3 years
- Must be at least 21 years of age
Nice to have
- High School Diploma (or equivalent) plus one year previous driving experience and one year experience in customer service or related field
Skills
- Ability to adhere to all safety/compliance regulations and procedures.
- This position requires punctuality, problem solving and attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
- Ability to read, write, understand and communicate in the English language.
- Ability to operate on-board computer and handheld scanner.
- Some basic knowledge of computer operations.
