Responsibilities

Skills

  • Prior food service or kitchen experience preferred but not required.
  • Basic knowledge of food preparation, portion control, and sanitation practices.
  • Are a reliable team player willing to learn and adapt to new situations
  • Able to lift at least 50 lbs.
  • Proficient in verbal and written English communication
  • Able to stand for long periods of time
  • Food Handling certification (can be obtained during employment)

  • Member Dining Room Attendant supports daily food service operations in the team member dining room by ensuring meals are prepared, presented, and served according to quality, portion, and safety standards.
  • Support daily operations of the Team Member Dining Room to ensure timely, efficient, and quality meal service.
  • Communicate any assistance needed during busy periods to the Chef or culinary leadership to ensure optimal service.
  • Monitor food quality, portion size, appearance, and presentation prior to service.
  • Notify culinary leadership if any product does not meet quality, safety, or specification standards.
  • Check and ensure correct temperatures of food items and kitchen equipment.
  • Serve food in proper portions using appropriate service ware and utensils.
  • Assist with food preparation including portioning, chopping, storing, washing, and peeling fruits and vegetables.
  • Prepare and cook food items as directed, following established recipes and standards.
  • Clean and sanitize dining and kitchen areas including tables, counters, tools, knives, and equipment.
  • Replenish food items, beverages, and supplies as needed during service periods.
  • Follow all company safety, security, and operational policies and procedures.
  • Report maintenance needs, safety hazards, or equipment issues promptly.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with team members and leadership.
  • Foster a positive, respectful, and team-oriented environment.
  • Follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures; report any maintenance problems, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries; complete safety training and certifications; properly store flammable materials.
  • Ensure compliance with hotel policies, procedures, and standards with self and colleagues.
  • Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional.
