About the role

  • At Nourish, we believe the quality of a product is a massive differentiator that separates great products and services from average ones.
  • We are a team that cares about our work, but we try not to take ourselves too seriously.
  • This role is full-time and can be based in either NYC (hybrid, in-office 3-4 days per week) or SF (remote until we open our SF office).

Responsibilities

  • Design best-in-class experiences for all our users.
  • You will iterate on existing features, create net new features, and continue to test both.
  • Help drive qualitative user research. You'll build prototypes, conduct interviews, and create surveys to test hypotheses about designs and products.
  • Grow and maintain our design system. You'll help the team operate efficiently and keep our quality consistent by helping manage our component library.
  • You're comfortable working through ambiguity, forming strong opinions, and helping drive product decisions alongside product and engineering.
  • You do your own stunts. No task is beneath you if it helps move the product forward. You might run user interviews, refine product copy, improve a flow, help prepare a deck, or jump into a messy problem that doesn't have an obvious owner.

Requirements

  • You have 10+ years experience designing compelling digital products.
  • You are deeply customer- and craft-oriented.
  • You are a builder.
  • Whether written or verbal, you can explain ideas quickly and directly.
