Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and execute reliability and durability test plans for HMI, embedded electronics, electromechanical assemblies, touch interfaces, displays, and wearable devices.
- Support compliance testing related to product safety, EMC/EMI and wireless in accordance with international standards (e.g., UL/IEC, FCC, CE).
- Apply statistical analysis methods to interpret results and support data-driven decision-making.
- Provide clear feedback and actionable recommendations to design, manufacturing, and quality teams.
- Support failure analysis and root-cause investigations using structured methodologies.
- Validate effectiveness of corrective and preventive actions through targeted re-testing.
- Assist in developing, refining, and maintaining product testing standards, procedures, and best practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Electrical, Mechanical, Firmware, Systems, Manufacturing, Quality, and Product Management to understand product requirements and risks.
- Document test plans, procedures, results, and conclusions in clear, concise technical reports.
- Support external labs, audits, certifications, and customer reliability inquiries.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Quality Engineering, or related discipline.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in reliability engineering, test engineering, product engineering, or system-level testing, preferably involving HMI, embedded electronics, or electro-mechanical products.
- Proven experience designing and executing reliability and durability tests.
- Strong knowledge of product testing methodologies, quality standards, and compliance frameworks.
- Experience with EMC/EMI, wireless, product safety, and international regulatory requirements.
- Experience with environmental stress testing (thermal cycling, vibration, shock, humidity).
- Knowledge of HALT/HASS, and reliability growth techniques.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to document, present, and communicate technical findings effectively.
- Excellent communication and documentation abilities.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment with multiple concurrent priorities.
- Able to read and produce electrical schematics and PCB layouts to debug product failures & develop product test fixtures.
- Proficient in the use of electrical test equipment such as oscilloscopes, digital multimeters, current meters, spectrum analyzers, as well as more specialized electrical test equipment.
- Understand how to operate, program, and coordinate calibration and maintenance of laboratory chambers (Ultra-violet, Environmental, HALT, and RF Emissions)
- Understand the use of ESD discharge and PCB strain test equipment.
