About the role

For over 30 years, Gersh Autism has empowered students on the autism spectrum to reach their full potential.
Serving individuals aged 5-21 across the U.S. and Puerto Rico, our network of K-12 schools provides personalized education tailored to each student's unique learning style.
Provide strategic leadership for the development and implementation of clinical and therapeutic services for education population of Gersh.

Set and uphold clinical standards aligned with regulatory requirements and current best practices in autism care and therapeutic support.
Lead the development and monitoring of clinical protocols, policies, and procedures.
Manage departmental budgets, staffing, and resources to ensure efficient and effective operations.
Cultivate partnerships with external professionals and agencies to support student care and align therapeutic strategies.
Guide data collection and analysis related to therapeutic outcomes and student progress to drive informed decision-making and continuous quality improvement.

Travel between program sites is required.
Must be able to keep students safe from themselves and others and, in some cases, may need to implement CPI (therapeutic holds) procedures.
Must be able to remove oneself from potentially harmful situations and, in some cases, be able to lift a child.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with data systems or EMRs related to clinical documentation.

Master's degree or higher in psychology, social work, behavior analysis, occupational therapy, or a related clinical field (doctorate preferred).
Licensure or certification in a relevant clinical discipline preferred (e.g., LCSW, BCBA, psychology or related field) Strong understanding of autism spectrum disorders and evidence-based interventions.

Collaborate with school leaders and other department heads to ensure clinical services are effectively integrated into educational programming.
Demonstrated success leading clinical teams and managing cross-functional programs in educational or healthcare settings.
