Responsibilities

  • Own and evolve the architecture, configuration, and performance of Workday as the core of the People Technology ecosystem
  • Design scalable, extensible solutions that go beyond configuration and improve how employees and managers interact with systems
  • Design and implement intelligent automation that reduces manual work and enables scale across People Operations
  • Partner in shaping an AI-first People Experience using tools such as Workday AI along
  • Identify and implement opportunities to embed AI into workflows across onboarding,
  • Operate with a platform mindset by building reusable, scalable solutions across systems and processes
  • Design and optimize business processes with a focus on performance, scalability, compliance, and simplicity
  • Design, build, and optimize integrations between Workday and external systems using APIs, middleware, and event-driven patterns
  • Contribute to building a best-in-class People Technology function
  • Proven ability to independently own and deliver complex solutions end-to-end

Requirements

  • 5 to 8+ years of experience in HR Technology, People Systems, or related platform roles
  • Strong hands-on experience with Workday across multiple modules
  • Strong experience with business process design, data models, and reporting and

Skills

  • Understanding of integration patterns, data flows, and system architecture concepts
  • Experience in high-growth, fast-paced, or transformation environments

  • New York: $138,000 - $145,500 per year.
  • Illinois: $124,000 - $131,000 per year.
