About the role

  • The successful candidate will be a scholar who provides intellectual and administrative leadership for the Bioethics faculty on the Kansas City and Joplin campuses.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with faculty and staff on recruitment and retention of MA bioethics students

Requirements

  • PhD, DO, MD or other terminal degree of relevance to Bioethics
  • This leader is an ethicist and humanist with relevant academic credentials and experience in Bioethics.

Nice to have

  • Research, publications, and grant-writing experience are highly preferred

Compensation

  • Annual evaluation of full-time faculty and review of adjunct faculty
  • Planning and leading an annual department retreat when indicated
