Responsibilities
- Our Home & Outdoor division is united by thoughtful design and lasting quality.
- This business unit includes our OXO, Osprey, and Hydro Flask brands, and this role may support one or more of these brands.
- Evaluating and directing functional and technical aspects of new products in collaboration with internal and external design firms
- Cooperating with manufacturing partners in the production of new products in a wide range of materials and manufacturing methods
- Reviewing and critiquing designs received as CAD files from design firms and soliciting feedback from manufacturers
- Preparing designs for quoting by preparing bills of materials, functional/quality requirements, and key manufacturing questions
- Meeting with design firms to provide insight on design decisions as they relate to material selection, manufacturing methods, assembly methods, and cost

Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university in mechanical engineering, product engineering, or materials science
- 2+ years of professional experience in related field.
- Knowledge of either Creo or SolidWorks CAD software.
- Knowledge of common consumer product manufacturing methods such as plastic injection molding, sheet metal fabrication, metal CNC machining, overmolding, and/or compression molding
- Ability to travel internationally to Asia (10%) as needed.

Compensation
- In New York City, the standard base pay range for this role is $80,000 - $95,000 annually.
