About the role
- Mine Supervisor Upstate New York | Full-Time | 40 Hours/Week | On-Site Reports to: General Manager Turner Staffing Group is partnering with our client, an established mining company based in New York, to find an experienced Mine Supervisor to lead day-to-day underground mining operations. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who takes pride in
- running a safe, efficient, and well-organized operation, and who wants real ownership over production, safety, and team performance. What You'll Do Operations & Production ● Supervise and coordinate all aspects of daily underground mining operations. ● Plan and schedule ore extraction, waste removal, and preventive maintenance to keep pace with mill demand.
Responsibilities
- Safety & Compliance ● Maintain and champion a strong safety program, training personnel on safe work practices. ● Perform regular site inspections and assess the safety of sidewalls, drifts, pillars, and benches. ● Ensure sound housekeeping practices throughout the mine site.
