Responsibilities

  • Apply human-centered design in meaningfully novel ways while identifying opportunities to support more design-driven decision-making across digital product teams.
  • Contribute to strategic design thinking, influencing not only execution but also the broader digital experience strategy.
  • Ensure design decisions align with business objectives, user needs, platform capabilities, and organizational priorities.
  • Drive clarity and alignment across complex product initiatives, helping teams define problems, identify opportunities, and shape future-state experiences.
  • Influence digital experience strategy through collaboration with stakeholders across Product, Engineering, Design, and Business teams.
  • Lead design strategy and execution for Salesforce-based advisor and employee experiences, leveraging deep knowledge of Salesforce platform capabilities, patterns, and constraints.
  • Design scalable experiences that maximize native Salesforce capabilities while balancing usability, maintainability, implementation effort, and business value.
  • Partner closely with Product Owners, Product Manager, and Engineering teams to define platform-enabled experiences.
  • Advocate for platform-centric design approaches that leverage out-of-the-box Salesforce functionality wherever possible while identifying strategic opportunities for customization when necessary.
  • Design complex workflows and operational experiences across Salesforce products.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Interaction Design, UX Design, Product Design, Human-Centered Design, Web Development, or a related field.
  • 6-8 years of experience in UX, interaction design, product innovation, and research within product development organizations.
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce concepts including objects, records, relationships, workflows, permissions, page layouts, record pages, and platform constraints.
  • Proficiency working with Salesforce Lightning Design System (SLDS) and integrating platform patterns with enterprise design systems.
  • Experience translating research insights into actionable solutions that solve meaningful user problems.
  • Experience working within Agile product development environments.

Skills

  • Proven experience designing complex operational, workflow-driven, or CRM-based experiences.
  • Experience designing for Financial Services Cloud, Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, or custom Lightning applications.
  • Proven success leading projects and contributing to the delivery of multiple shipped digital products.
  • Self-directed and proactive, with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
