About the role

  • You will balance long-term strategic thinking with operational excellence to execute leadership assessments, executive coaching, and curated development at scale.
  • NOTE: This role is hybrid and requires 3 days a week onsite in our Walnut Creek, CA office.
  • Establish a feedback loop to capture the "voice of the executive," ensuring continuous evolution of the L&D/OD roadmap.

Responsibilities

  • AAA Mountain West Group is seeking a strategic and innovative Senior Organizational Development (SOD) Manager to design and deliver transformational leadership experiences.
  • In this high-impact role, you will act as the expert architect for initiatives that build core capabilities for our people leaders.
  • Moving beyond traditional program management, you will serve as a thought leader and trusted advisor to HR leadership and business executives, diagnosing capability gaps and co-creating solutions that drive measurable business results.
  • Collaborate with senior leaders to translate core competencies into measurable capabilities.
  • Implement measurement strategies aligned with key people metrics.
  • Deliver engaging and effective group sessions, workshops, and training programs, both in-person and virtual.
  • Lead collaborative teams and manage external vendors to deliver solutions; championing a "leaders as teachers" culture, empowering executives to model the behaviors that inspire change across the organization.

Requirements

  • Lead the administration and debriefing of 360-degree feedback and psychometric assessment tools

Nice to have

  • Experience utilizing psychometric tools and 360-degree assessments to drive leader self-awareness.
  • Professional Coaching Certification (e.g., ICF) is a significant plus.
  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field
  • 8+ years of experience building and scaling leadership and organizational development programs within complex environments.
  • Or High School diploma and 12 years of experience building and scaling leadership and organizational development programs within complex environments.
  • Master's in Organizational Development, I/O Psychology, or Human Resources
  • Coaching & Assessment Proficiency: Experience utilizing psychometric tools and 360-degree assessments to drive leader self-awareness.

Compensation

  • Min: $132,465.00 - Mid: $165,580.00 -
  • Great Pay - opportunity to participate in AAA discretionary annual incentive plan or other incentive plans depending upon position
  • Depending on position, an additional 24 hours per year are earmarked for volunteer activities.
