- As a Senior Project Engineer, you'll play a key leadership role in supporting field and office operations by partnering closely with the Project Manager and Superintendent.
- This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving problems, mentoring others, and taking pride in delivering high-quality work.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and lead technical and administrative project functions from start-up through closeout
- Manage complex building systems coordination, including submittals, RFIs, clash detection, and design reviews
- Support bid package development, schedule management, change management, and cost reporting
- Partner with Project Managers and Superintendents on project planning and execution
- Maintain strong communication with owners, design teams, and trade partners
- Lead jobsite engineering activities and participate in project meetings
- Track budgets, costs, and forecasting to support financial performance
- Coach, mentor, and support Project Engineers and interns
- Promote and model strong safety practices and support Absher's safety culture

Nice to have
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 4+ years of relevant construction experience
- Strong understanding of construction means and methods
- Proficiency with project management and construction software platforms
- Ability to read and interpret plans, specifications, and submittals
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organization, time management, and follow-through
- Dependable, professional, and comfortable handling confidential information
Compensation
- $100,000 - $130,000 USD
- Background Check & Pre-Employment Screening
- All offers of employment are contingent upon successful completion of a pre-employment background check and drug screening.
