About the role
- Lochmueller Group is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to join our Transportation Team.
- This position could be based out of any of our regional offices in Indiana, Illinois, Missouri, Kansas, Kentucky, or Ohio.
- Lochmueller Group is an engineering consulting firm with an emphasis on infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Manage transportation projects through all phases of planning, design, and delivery.
- Lead project teams in managing scope, schedule, budget, quality, risk, and client expectations.
- Support pursuits and delivery planning for major transportation projects.
- Contribute to design-build and other alternative delivery pursuits by helping develop delivery strategies, execution plans, and team structures.
- Serve as Project Manager on select design-build, construction manager/general contractor (CMGC), progressive design-build, or other alternative delivery projects.
- Advise project teams on contract structures, partnering approaches, risk allocation, and coordination with contractors and teaming partners.
- Support the professional development of transportation staff through coaching, knowledge sharing, and succession planning efforts.
- Major Project & Alternative Delivery Support:
- Lead or support pursuit strategy, proposal development, and interview preparation for transportation opportunities.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships as a primary point of contact on assigned projects.
