- The salary range for this position is typically $130 - $140k.

Responsibilities
- Manages the functionality and efficiency of a group of servers running on one or more operating systems
- Maintains database integrity and security, configures role-based access control (RBAC), and sets up administrative accounts
- Maintain documentation for configurations, standards, and procedures
- Develops and monitors policies and standards for allocation related to the use of computing resources
- Develops and implements testing strategies and document results
- Maintains current knowledge of relevant technologies as assigned
- Collaborates with developers on schema design, query optimization, and stored procedures
- Knowledge on how to build/maintain efficient database table structures for both transactional and warehouse data
- You'll work with moderate autonomy - trusted to manage your workload and make good technical decisions without someone looking over your shoulder.
- You'll collaborate with developers and infrastructure teams, advise end-users on best practices, and participate in an on-call rotation for after-hours support.
Requirements
- ACTIVE TS/SCI SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIRED**
Nice to have
- CompTIA Security+ or equivalent

- 5+ years of related database analysis and/or administration experience
- PostgreSQL experience required.
- Oracle database administration is a plus
- Experience in PostgreSQL administration/tuning
- including knowledge and implementation of database high-availability solutions and performance tuning
- Experience in monitoring, creating, and managing PostgreSQL server agent alerts
