About the role

  • The Master Data Management (MDM) Business Analyst plays a critical role in ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and quality of an organization's master data.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their data needs and requirements.
  • Design and create business process flows, policies, and procedures for all end-to-end MDM processes with input from the business and IT teams
  • Create data quality requirements & rules and standardization, for mastering data from multiple sources to ensure its accuracy and consistency.
  • Develop and execute data quality metrics and reports.
  • Create and maintain data governance policies. Support Data Governance Program and present any new policies/requirements to the DG Council.
  • Participate in data profiling and data mapping activities. Develop and manage data integration processes and workflows.
  • Provide data analysis and insights to support decision-making processes. Conduct data impact assessments for new initiatives or changes in business processes.
  • Collaborate with IT teams to ensure MDM solutions are properly integrated into existing systems. S
  • Provide training and support to end-users on MDM tools and processes.

Requirements

  • Minimum bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, or Statistics
  • 8+ years relevant IT experience
  • 2+ years Implementation experience with MDM systems (STIBO, Reltio or Informatica etc.)
  • Proven experience in data management, data warehousing, or related fields.
  • Strong knowledge of Master Data Management principles and practices.
  • Proficiency in data modeling, data integration, and ETL processes.
  • Experience with data quality tools and techniques.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret complex data.
  • Knowledge of SQL and familiarity with data visualization tools.
