About the role

You will assists in training staff under the supervision and guidance of the Pharmacy Managers and Pharmacy Technician Supervisor to help further BMC's mission of providing exceptional care for all.
Schedule: Per Diem, Rotating every other weekend
Prepares prescription orders in a timely manner; retrieves, counts, measures and prepares medications, solutions, ointments, and other compounds as directed.

Performs data entry tasks such as, prescription transcription and entry, resolve third party insurance claim issues, contacts providers as appropriate for the pharmacist while maintaining customer / patient confidentiality.
Supports the service needs of the pharmacist relative to pharmacy services and maximized patient care outcomes such as, ensuring the prescription is dispensed to the correct patient at the point-of-sale in a professional and courteous manner

Must be registered as a Pharmacy Technician or Pharmacy Intern with the MA Board of Pharmacy by the hire date ( Pharmacy Interns are not required to hold CPhT certification)
Must have/maintain national technician certification through PTCB or exCPT
