About the role
- This role is responsible for leading and supporting the school's team with new family recruitment efforts and creating a welcoming and seamless transition for families to our schools.
- This position requires flexibility of schedule, including willingness to occasionally work weekend and evening hours as events demand.
Responsibilities
- Lead and develop Family Recruitment staff.
- Partner with leaders to identify enrollment opportunities and challenges.
- Develop recruitment strategies to meet enrollment goals.
- Build partnerships with community organizations and local leaders.
- Collaborate with Marketing and Communications on family outreach.
- Support regional family engagement initiatives.
- Develop tools and best practices for schools.
- Partner with school leaders to improve family participation and retention.
Requirements
- 5-7 years of experience in recruitment, enrollment, family engagement, or related fields.
- 3+ years of people management experience.

- Required Qualifications
- Commitment to Rocketship's mission and educational equity.
- Bachelor's degree required
- master's preferred.
- Strong leadership, project management, and communication skills.
- Experience building community partnerships and using data to drive results.
Nice to have
- Spanish bilingual skills preferred.
- Experience with enrollment systems, CRM platforms, or family engagement tools.
- While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to talk, hear, and communicate with both adults and children.
- The employee frequently is required to use hands or fingers, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls.
- The employee is frequently required to stand
- and reach with hands and arms.
- The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally climb ladders.
- The noise level in the work environment is moderate to high.
