About the role
- The Warehouse Worker is responsible for day-to-day shipping/receiving, material handling, and loading/unloading trucks.
- Timely and accurate movement of materials and products through the production area and staging areas.
- Maintaining forklifts, hand-trucks, pallet-jacks daily by inspecting batteries, water levels, lights, horns, tires, mirrors, oil levels, backup beep indicators, and ensuring all parts are in good working condition.
Responsibilities
- Performs count checks of incoming freight in the staging areas.
- Inspects items for damage, performs temperature and quality checks and takes appropriate action as needed.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Ability to be forklift certified and maintain certification annually.
Requirements
- Ability to climb ladders, bend, reach and occasionally lift of up to 40 lbs. may be required.
- Meets required productivity and accuracy standards per location and company guidelines.
- Must be able to operate a forklift and to be certified annually for forklift license.
