About the role
- Responsible for providing troubleshooting and repairing of technical / mechanical equipment failures in the field.
- Assess and responds to situations using standard procedures in isolation and fixing problem equipment.
Responsibilities
- Performs a variety of routine support activities in the field service function.
- Reports design, reliability, and maintenance problems through field service management software.

Requirements
- 3 years prior experience in similar or related field.
- Ability to work independently with little direct supervision.
- Must have the ability to read, understand, and follow electrical and hydraulic schematics.
- Must have the ability to use a variety of basic electrical testing / diagnostic equipment, and have a thorough understanding of AC and DC electrical theory.

- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls and reach with hands and arms

- Completion of all required reporting of service work performed, time sheets, and other reports as set forth by the Branch Supervisor.
- Ensure all training and certifications required for position are maintained in an up to date and timely fashion.
Skills
- MS Office and business applications.
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
- Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
- Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form.
- Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
Compensation
- $51,600 - $91,260 CAD annually
