About the role
- At Cherokee Millwright, we are a multi-craft company that focuses on the needs of our customers by providing multi-trades personnel to meet the customer's unique job requests.
- The focus of this position will be responsible for assisting all employees by performing various tasks such as cleaning work areas, unloading materials, preparing jobsites, retrieving tools, and cleaning debris.

Requirements
- Construction or manufacturing experience is highly desired but not required.
- High School diploma or GED required.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
- Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand.
- The employee is frequently required to walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear.
- The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.

Skills
- Therefore, all field employees will be cross trained in various trades such as millwrighting, pipefitting, welding, sheet metal, civil, etc.
- However, it will not be entirely set to this specific skillset.
